Shani Bird is a workforce strategy, culture, and leadership advisor with 15 years of experience helping organizations strengthen employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, workplace culture, and inclusion. Throughout her career, she has partnered with executive leaders across Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations spanning the healthcare, health insurance, technology, transportation, banking, and medical device industries.

Most recently, Shani served as Director of Global Inclusion & Culture at Boston Scientific, where she advised executive leadership and led enterprise-wide culture and inclusion initiatives across a global workforce of more than 45,000 employees. In this role, she partnered closely with Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Affairs to develop and implement strategies that strengthened employee engagement, leadership accountability, representation, and organizational culture.

Over the course of her career, Shani has led workforce diagnostics, employee listening initiatives, leadership development programs, culture transformation efforts, governance frameworks, employee network strategies, and enterprise-wide change initiatives. Known for her ability to bridge strategy and execution, she helps organizations translate workforce insights into practical solutions that drive measurable business impact.

Her work at Boston Scientific was recognized with two CEO Winning Spirit Awards, six HR Excellence Awards, and a Catalyst Award for measurable programmatic impact.

Prior to Boston Scientific, Shani held talent, culture, and inclusion roles at Dell EMC and served as a consultant with Global View Communications (GVC), where she advised clients on inclusion workforce strategy, data analytics, organizational assessments, and implementation planning.

Shani holds an MBA with Honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Master of Science in Analytics from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Bryant University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Mu Sigma Rho honor societies and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Outside of work, Shani enjoys travel, music, yoga, wellness, karate (she is a black belt) and exploring the intersection of culture, leadership, and human potential.
